Christian Travel Report

On a recent whirlwind tour visiting partners in East Africa, our Africa Team Lead, Christian Rath, got to stop at a very special community in rural Kenya.

"We met with a group of widows," Christian shared. "Elizabeth and Meshach of the James Project shared their plans to dry and sell mangos and vegetables, starting out by testing markets in their own community."

The James Project has deep roots in community orphan care, emergency rations, support for widows, medical support and trainings, and, most exciting to us, in agriculture, and the development of these dryers and other sources of food only happen thanks to donors like you.

Special thanks to our friends in Oklahoma, to the Meekers, to the Vande Logt family, and to everyone else who contributes to this effort. You are helping make whole communities more food secure and safe!
