We impact lives through agriculture by…

  • Scouting

The Scout Team travels the globe in search of high potential farms and ag businesses eager to get started, try a new approach, or scale their operation.

  • Mentoring

Once a partnership is established, a designated agronomy expert from the Mentor Team begins working alongside the partner to ensure their success.

  • Impact Investing

The Investment Team manages the C Fund, a financing tool providing partner companies the cash to buy materials to bridge agricultural cycles, all funded by our community of impact investors.

Corrupt officials, unjust competition, and a lack of access can crush even the most resilient farmer.

The work below is how you help them succeed.

Investment Portfolio Partners

  • Long Miles Coffee

Founded with farmers in mind, Long Miles is dedicated to making sure farmers get their dues while also producing a high quality coffee at an affordable rate.

It’s no easy balancing act. The coffee business is cutthroat and competitive, but Ben and Kristy founded Long Miles to be that in-between kind of coffee distributor that bridges the gap between the people who farm coffee and the people who drink it.

  • Oasis Agro Kyrgyzstan

Dependency on imported food and feed leaves whole nations vulnerable. Between the COVID-19 shut down and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Central Asian farmers would have faced challenges keeping their animals affordably fed if it weren’t for this C Fund-invested feed mill.

Thank you to our impact investor community for enabling this successful feed company and increasing food security in the region!

  • Hamara Heartlands

Based in Zimbabwe and Zambia, Hamara Heartlands provides agricultural business training to help East Africans achieve food sustainability while offering farm apprenticeships and discipleship, all geared toward sustainability and Kingdom impact.

Donations enable Hamara Heartlands to increase their capacity of layer chickens, and fields of tomatoes, butternut squash, and watermelons. This will enable Ebenezer to teach more students in more trades, and improve their financial self-sufficiency.

Where we work

We follow the need, the opportunity for impact, and our friendships with farming communities who need it most.

Giving Methods

Like any nonprofit, we welcome donations! Unlike many nonprofits, we have even better giving options to ensure your donation lasts longer and does more for people who need it most.

Farmers for Farmers

Directly support farmers! Started as a way to connect the global farming community, a one-time or monthly gift to Farmers for Farmers will have a direct impact on farmers and ag businesses around the world.

A gift of $60 provides inputs to quadruple a coffee farmer’s yield in Burundi. A gift of $50 provides an acre of high quality seed for farmers in Kyrgyzstan.

C Fund Donation

We’re taking the phrase ‘invest in impact’ to a whole new level with our C Fund investment model. By donating to this fund, you ensure your giving will have a ‘rollover impact’ as it is continually reinvested in high potential ag businesses around the world.

Operational Costs

We’re fortunate to have friends and funders who understand that healthy overhead is a good thing, and our mostly-volunteer team are passionate about using every dollar to benefit farmers around the world.

Your gift to our general fund helps us impact lives through agriculture and sustain this work.

Helping widows care for orphans in rural Kenya

Our friends at The James Project, a Kenyan-run org with a unique approach to orphan care, have requested help developing ag businesses to provide food and reliable income.

In Kenya, most orphans end up in an institutional orphanage—widely considered a ‘dead end.’ The James Project keeps these children in their homes and away from orphanages by supporting widows willing to care for the children.

See how you can partner with these amazing widows as they care for orphans in the community below!
