Minister of Agriculture Praises Innovative Chicken Houses
Your impact in Central Asia is getting noticed!
In a recent televised speech, the Kyrgyz Minister of Agriculture praised our partner’s mobile chicken house units. He also praised new chicken farming prototypes at a local ag expo in the region, where partners demoed mobile chicken houses.
The units are made from repurposing shipping containers and can house anywhere from 500-1000 birds. With an average startup cost of around $5000, these micro-farming operations are quick, affordable, and easy to get started, and that means opportunity for low income farmers in rural, hard-to-reach areas of the mountainous Central Asian nation.
Congratulations to our partners at Dutch Nature and their affiliates, Royal Breed and Oasis Agro, for this well-deserved praise from a high ranking official. Our work in the region has been met with many challenges, as many of you following the situation closely know, but it’s exciting to see the tremendous impact of these companies getting recognition.
