Thanks to Kenyan Farm Co-Op Akili Foods!

One of the best things about exploring work in new parts of the world?

The people you meet.

It’s humbling, spending time with farmers who’ve found innovative and culturally unique ways of working the ground or partnering in community.

Akili Foods stands out as an excellent Kenyan-run farming operation. The staff were extremely generous hosts with a strong understanding of local food supply chains and the challenges many Kenyan farmers face in growing and selling their crop. Thanks to Mrs. Washira for showing us around her lush farm, and thanks to Pauline, Julius, Catherine, and the team for the hospitality.

Thanks also to you and this AgG community! Many of you have supported and explored Kingdom-centered ag development opportunities with us in Central Asia, and we’re excited to explore those same opportunities in East Africa.

We have a team just back from Georgia, several more visits to East Africa, and plans for our annual Joseph Project Summit in Kyrgyzstan this summer. Thanks for supporting this work all over the world, and stay tuned for the impact you’re making possible!
