Hamara Heartlands
Our friends at Hamara Heartlands take holistic care seriously, providing immersive training, housing, and discipleship to young farmers in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Their apprenticeship model offers young people a way into sustainable agricultural business by providing hands-on training and skills, all while meeting the growing demand for Christ-centered discipleship.
Thank you to our C Fund impact investor community for making such holistic partnership possible and for helping equip young people with skills to contribute meaningfully in their communities through agriculture businesses.
Hamara Heartlands—via their training program, Ebenezer Matobo—provides full-time residential apprenticeships in agriculture that last anywhere from three months to two years, and participants graduate with skills they leverage to land jobs or create them and establish strong communities where they live and work.
Donations to this project will enable Ebenezer to increase their capacity of layer chickens, and fields of tomatoes, butternut squash, and watermelons. This will enable Ebenezer to teach more students in more trades, and improve their financial self-sufficiency.
