Board Member Intro: Meet Wes Johnson

Sometimes, the best journeys start unexpectedly.

That’s how we first met Wes Johnson, a longtime board member and founding partner to AgGrandize. As Wes put it, “My introduction to AgGrandize Global started with a chance meeting on a flight with Kevin Stark. Our conversation led to a follow-up meeting with Kevin and Justin Carney, where they shared the bold vision behind AgGrandize.”

Wes shared he was inspired by the passion and purpose, adding that “my wife and I agreed to become founding partners. Not long after, I was invited to join the board—an opportunity I was honored to accept.”

All of that, and Wes hadn’t ever been on an overseas trip like this at all! That’s a leap of faith, jumping in with an international org that travels constantly when you haven’t experienced it much yourself.

“I am deeply proud to be associated with such an outstanding organization,” Wes continued. “At times, I’ve wondered what I truly bring to the table, but Kevin and Justin’s encouragement reminds me that perspective matters. My experience allows me to offer thoughtful insight — and occasionally a consenting or alternative view — to help ensure the best possible decisions are made.”

Our Board continues to show up when we need them most, and Wes is no exception. At our last in-person meeting, he encouraged consideration around our own charitable giving and tithing, he encouraged prayer and ongoing discipleship, and he brings such a joyful energy to every meeting. Not to mention he’s an incredible hunter, ask to see photos!!

Wes concluded by saying, “I believe the future of AgGrandize is incredibly bright, and I look forward to witnessing its continued growth and impact in the years ahead.”
