Land Investment Marks Major Step Forward in Central Asia Ag

We’re excited to share a significant milestone in our ongoing agricultural development efforts in Central Asia. After months of searching and careful evaluation, we’re pleased to announce that we have secured a very promising land investment in Kyrgyzstan that will serve as a cornerstone of our improved seed genetics initiative.

This land will help us take seed quality and genetics in the region to a new level, meaning major economic opportunity for local farmers and business partners.

The Need: Land for Seed Stock Production

One of the core challenges we’ve faced over the past year has been the need for a dedicated piece of land where we could take full control of seed stock production. Seed stock—high-quality, resilient soybeans, wheat, sainfoin, safflower, canola, and others—forms the backbone of any thriving agricultural ecosystem. To ensure long-term food security and sustainable farming across the region, it’s essential we produce our own seed stock locally, tailored to the climate and conditions Kyrgyz farmers face.

Until now, we’ve had to either rent land or work through other growers to produce these seeds, which has limited our ability to implement best practices or guarantee quality. That changes now!

A Land Opportunity with Tremendous Potential

We’re thrilled—and deeply grateful—to report that we have secured an opportunity to purchase two adjacent parcels of farmland totaling approximately 125 acres. This land is located near a reliable water reservoir, and its access to irrigation makes it an ideal site for consistent, high-quality crop production.

The importance of irrigation cannot be overstated in this context. With a stable water supply, we can reduce the variability and risk that often hamper seed stock efforts in the region. More importantly, this gives us the ability to control growing conditions from the ground up, ensuring our seeds are resilient, nutrient-rich, and well-adapted for local farmers to use across varying altitudes and microclimates.

This is just the first step—but it’s a crucial one.

Also, we’re excited to announce that a production manager from the United States will oversee the startup of this seed operation. Stay tuned to meet him and his family in a future post!

Looking Ahead: Cultivating Seed and Spurring Regional Impact

With the land now in place, our next step will be to begin producing seed stock. This will involve not just planting and harvesting, but implementing a robust plan to test, refine, and distribute these seeds to farmers across Kyrgyzstan and, eventually, the wider Central Asian region.

We believe this land investment will act as a multiplier for regional impact. By producing stronger, localized seeds, we help farmers increase their yields and reduce their dependency on imported or ill-suited seed varieties. That, in turn, strengthens food security, enhances economic opportunity, and reinforces our broader agricultural development network.

Stay tuned in the coming months for more details about seed production timelines, crop trials, and partnerships we’re forming to scale distribution.

Restoring the Soil: A Model for Regenerative Agriculture

It’s important to acknowledge that the land we’ve acquired is not without its challenges. Years of conventional and often outdated farming methods have stripped much of the soil of its natural nutrients. While this poses an initial hurdle, it also presents a powerful opportunity.

We plan to introduce regenerative agricultural practices on this land—methods that restore soil health, improve carbon retention, and reduce the need for synthetic fertilizers. These include cover cropping, composting, crop rotation, and microbial treatments that replenish the soil’s natural ecosystem.

By doing so, we not only strengthen our own seed production but also demonstrate to local farmers what’s possible when stewardship and science come together. Regenerative practices not only improve long-term productivity, they also reduce costs and reliance on expensive commercial inputs—something that’s particularly crucial in under-resourced rural communities.

A Grateful Step Forward

As we move forward, we are humbled by the clarity and timeliness of this opportunity. Securing this land brings us one step closer to building a more resilient, self-sustaining agricultural ecosystem in Central Asia. We’re grateful to God for opening this door and to each of you—our investors, partners, and supporters—for standing with us on this journey.

We’ll continue to keep you informed as we break ground on this land, initiate our regenerative plans, and launch our first wave of seed stock production. The potential impact is immense—not only for our organization, but for every farmer, family, and village we aim to serve.

Thank you for being a part of this mission. The best is ahead.

Warm regards,
Kevin Stark
Chairman of the Board
