How Joseph Summit Connects + Empowers In Central Asia
The Joseph Summit is only a month away!
Exactly one day from today, our 50+ attendees sit down together in Almaty, Kazakhstan to convene the seventh annual Joseph Summit gathering, so we sat down with one of the event coordinators, Abby Elliott, to hear more specifics of this year's event.
"The first time I attended the Joseph Summit (JS), I was struck by the unity and humility of the Body of Christ in action. I saw believers from diverse backgrounds putting aside their personal needs to serve others and collaborate to see the Kingdom advance. In a world that can seem incredibly tense and self-serving, this kind of humble teamwork was truly inspiring."
Abby's role didn't initially include work on the Joseph Summit (formerly called Joseph Project), but after seeing first-hand how truly collaborative and effective this network is, her involvement grew and she's now a key leader in bringing the Summit to life each year.

What actually happens at the Summit?
Practically speaking, the Summit is a dynamic collaboration of pastors, farmers, business owners, and field workers dedicated to agricultural development and community transformation through Kingdom principles. Attendees will spend time in prayer, on site visits, in meetings, networking, and enjoying time to dream and strategize together.
What started as a regional event is now growing to meet global demand for stronger faith-fueled ag networks that enable sustainable ministry.
As Abby puts it, "We all happen to work in ag development and share that passion, but the underlying common ground is seeing God’s Kingdom grow."
Thanks to generous supporters, the impact of the Summit is expanding beyond Central Asia into new regions like South Asia and East Africa. As doors continue to open, the vision is to grow this movement further, reaching more believers and communities with the hope of Christ and sustainable, lasting development that keeps people fed and gainfully employed in agriculture.

How you help.
We can't grow the Summit into other parts of the world without your help. Sponsoring a field worker’s event costs—covering conference fees, lodging, and meals—looks a bit different depending on the region, but the average cost is $400 - $500. This donation makes it possible for lower-income field workers to attend, learn, and plug in to this valuable support network.
To all of you who've already attended past events or sponsored attendees: thank you!!
