Affordable Mobile Chicken Houses Are Here!
They’re mobile, affordable, and they make farming accessible to most anyone, anywhere in the region.
Instead of featuring a specific farmer and sharing a bit of their story, we’re sharing a new technology that is helping people become farmers.
These mobile chicken houses were recently praised by the Kyrgyz Minister of Agriculture, have been well received by locals in the region, and are now being manufactured to help a rural, even off-grid farmer raise a sizable flock.
Joseph Project attendees got to see the latest prototypes and they’re looking slick!
Each chicken house holds 160 birds, is well-ventilated with protective coating on the outside, and can be loaded into the back of a small truck delivered by two people and doesn’t take much extra equipment to set up.
Seeing a larger version of this, the Kyrgyz Minister of Agriculture asked our partners in the region to create a smaller, more practical version to be used by smaller families and deployed into more rural parts of the country.
A huge thank you to all of you who made Joseph Project possible and for all the support you guys have shown ag businesses and farmers over the years. You are truly impacting lives through agriculture for the better, and we’re grateful.
