Our investment team manages the ‘C Fund’, a Collateralized Commodity Fund used to help portfolio partner companies access the cash needed to buy large volumes of commodities.
This allows them to bridge agricultural cycles and creates an avenue for impact investors to generate sustained impact over time through invested funds rather than one-time donated funds.
The C Fund is currently totally deployed, with $1,811,763 deployed to seven companies.
Looking at the map above and the numbers above, the old proverb “to go quickly, go alone. To go far, go together” rings true. We don’t go it alone, and we wouldn’t want to! As a partnering organization, we understand that collaboration is critical to developing strong food supply chains.
We actually can’t function outside of relying on partners, and that’s exactly how we prefer it. So we can’t celebrate our teams’ impact without also honoring all our partners have accomplished (and the ways you’ve made that possible).
