How You Prep for a Food Crisis Before It Happens

Israel and Palestine, Russia and Ukraine, and what next?

Instant online access makes the world’s conflicts feel so immediate and overwhelming…but that doesn’t mean we can’t be actively preparing for them—we've been doing it for years!

When a crisis happens, food supply chains almost always take a hit. Take Ukraine: as a major breadbasket and food exporter to Europe, the Middle East, and food insecure parts of East Africa, Ukraine’s food and feed exports ground to a halt when Russia invaded, and food supply chains aren’t even close to recovering. Same with Syria, Iraq, parts of Burma, Congo, and other long-time conflict zones.

Pictured: During COVID and the war in Ukraine, this mill’s value grew 10x and met critical food supply chain meeds in the region thanks to our C Fund impact investors.

We can’t stop the wars, but we can work to mitigate their impact on everyday innocents and live out Christ’s Kingdom by supporting farmers and ag businesses.

As the world seems to constantly be reactive, thank you for choosing to be proactive. Your giving matters, and on behalf of every farmer you’ve served: thank you!

Friends in Central Asia are enduring break-in attempts and targeting from corrupt competitors and government officials, and we’re asking for your help! Every dollar you give below will help them stay afloat as bank loans (historically easy to get) are being suddenly denied. See the video below for more info, and thank you for the support!
