New Year, New Work, Same Kingdom Vision!

Earlier this month our staff, board, and volunteers traveled from across the country to meet in-person to prep and plan for the new year. Pastor Virgil, who traveled to Kyrgyzstan last year after winning a trip to the Joseph Project, and his team graciously allowed us to meet at their church, Fort Scott Nazarene.

We also celebrated growth and everything you are making possible for farmers and ag businesses around the world! Farmers understand there will be ups and downs, better and worse yields, but we commit to keep going regardless.

Thanks to all of you who’ve stuck with us and invested or donated to Kingdom impact in regions like Central Asia and East Africa.

One key thing we’ve come to understand is that this work isn’t for everyone. It takes a very particular kind of person, with long-term vision to be involved in this work. We don’t react to catastrophes, we prep for them!

A lot of people prefer to be part of responsive aid work, which is needed, but we’re grateful for people like you and this community who have are far-sighted and committed to proactively supporting communities in developing strong farms and food supplies before they need it.

We were filled with gratitude as we reflected on this community where…

  • Most AgGrandize work is done by volunteers.

  • Most of this community are donors or impact investors fueled by faith in Christ’s Kingdom coming on earth as it is in heaven.

  • Most of us have some experience with ag, though we rely on a core group of ag experts in our mentoring team.

  • Most of us have lived and worked around the world for many years.

Thanks for choosing a more challenging, longer-lasting kind of Kingdom work. We thank God for each of you and will continue doing everything we can to impact lives through agriculture!

With you,

The AgGrandize team
