You Made Our 8th Annual Event the Biggest Yet!
The night was full of firsts: our first event in November, first time gathering at a community center, and a first intro to our new partner, Heart for Africa, who is seeking support in becoming more food-secure and sustainable in their operation in Eswatini, Southern Africa.
“Pass Me That Torch”—Meet Legacy Ag Developer, Dr. Glenn Fell
“The last thing Charles said to me before leaving was, ‘Take care of the farm for me until I get back.’” Fell paused. “And he never got back, so I kept taking care of the farm for him.”
Dr. Fell had just returned from Southern Africa, where he’d served in faith-based ag development for the Church of the Nazarene. He was back in Kansas City, unsure of what to do next, when the university asked him to step into Dr. Morrow’s role. What began as a moment of tragedy became a continuation of legacy.
Our Sincerest Thanks To All Fundraiser Attendees!
You are helping build out businesses, keep people fed and employed, and strengthening the Church in remote parts of the world. Every contribution, prayer, or volunteer hour helps farmers support their families, churches, and entire communities, so thank you!!
New Year, New Work, Same Kingdom Vision!
Thanks to all of you who’ve stuck with us and invested or donated to Kingdom impact in regions like Central Asia and East Africa.
One key thing we’ve come to understand is that this work isn’t for everyone. It takes a very particular kind of person, with long-term vision to be involved in this work. We don’t react to catastrophes, we prep for them!
You made our 4th Annual Meeting a success!
It was our biggest community event to-date, and the opportunity to catch up with you and celebrate all that God is making possible around the world through this community’s work meant so much.
