Thanks to Farming Friends in Kyrgyzstan + Georgia!

Working closely with farmers and ag businesses mean our mostly-volunteer team is often traveling! Ag development requires trust, which means spending time together in-person as often as we can.

A small team recently visited two key partners in the Republic of Georgia and Kyrgyzstan. These are opportunities to explore new work, check in on our partner’s needs and challenges, keep a finger on the pulse of ag supply chains, and stay connected to farmers, and particularly to the believing farmers and pastors who rely on farm businesses you support in the region.

Special thanks to Oasis Agro and other friends in the region for hosting our team!

Stop offs in Tblisi, Bishkek, and Osh mean lots of time catching up with friends, visiting farms and ag businesses, and eating regional favorites.

Seeing the growth in Bishkek (in spite of recent corrupt opposition) and the new satellite farm supply stations in rural parts of Kyrgyzstan was encouraging, thank you for supporting great work in Central Asia!
