When we met him, Maroof and his wife were preparing for their daughter’s wedding. She served as our translator on a visit to farmers and distributors across Uzbekistan, and the atmosphere in this home was joyful. The story could have been so different, but a chicken broiler business opportunity came Maroof’s way and he seized on it, working hard and building the business into a profitable, sustainable work that he loves.
