Happy Farmer First: Meet Peter

Happy New Year, and happy first of the month!

We’re starting off 2025 with a quick look at The James Project in Kenya, where a team recently visited our partners in the region and were thrilled to meet this young farmer, Peter.

Peter is pictured next to one of the fruit/veggie drying stations our James Project donors helped provide last year as a way to boost sustainable food production for orphans and widows in the area.

The Machakos region has a large number of widows and orphaned children who rely on food aid rations, but our team is committed to seeing them become more food secure and able to grow their own futures, without handouts!
